I tore out the old ribs where the main gear goes so there will be enough room for the large retracts. I am using 1/4" aircraft ply for the new ribs and maple rails. Everything is supported by hardwood 3/4" triangle stock and 3/8" square maple. I am now figuring out where I need to set the rails. I also cut some 1/8" ply to raise the front of the bottom just beyond the wide air intakes and oil coolers. You will see it in the pix. It isn't glued in yet but I will do that last after both retracts are in and working.

Thanx I got the air lines and quick connects today. Now I can run the lines to the gear. Did you get my check yet?
