Default Laser 3D

eugoogoly, I don't want to disapoint you, but I have to tell you what I think.
The laser 3D is in my opinion certainly not a good second airplane. Hig performances 3D designs like the laser are fragile airplanes. They are very light. they fly gently with 1/3 power and reduced flight controls throw, but will suffer a lot if you slightly miss your landings or during ground manipulations.

I have no doubt about your flying skills or your ability to build it (be sure of that), but in my opinion you should select a more strong design as second bird.

A good plane should be a 4 star 60, but it seems that you want to jump a step and imeditaly go to somehing very hot, so I suggest you a sig somethin extra (available in kit or ARF), this design is very very funy to fly and strong. The somethin extra will accept the servos and the engine of your future laser 3D and will give hours of pleasure. the kit version of the somethin extra is a dream to build, just put a bottle of CA in the box, shake and you have the plane ready lol

this is my opinion, but if you decide to continue the building of your laser, be sure I will help you.

if you decide to build your laser 3D with a YS63, you have to know that this engine is a hig performance engine, requiring an extensive breaking in procedure on a test stand, expensive fuel and that plenty of experimented modelers have a lot of dificulties to tune this engine correctly (me first)
