Default RE: C-ARF Ultra Flash build Thread + Video

ORIGINAL: dirtydingus

Hey Dave (and others),

Just finished my Ultra Flash and I have a concern, the plane sits level on the ground and when I test ran it today I noticed the tank was running out so I shut it down. I then drained the rest of the fuel to make sure it was all out. I picked up the nose and another 16 ounces came out. Is this normal, or should I remove the rear brace and drop the rear of the tank? I am running a 120 SX so I need every drop of fuel to count. I guess my question is does the plane fly with a slight nose-up attitude, allowing the tank to drain properly?

Yes, this is normal and well documented in the "classic" Flash threads. I am running a P-160SX and have a dozen flights on my UF without any problems. You will always have some fuel left in the main tank. I previously had a classic Flash with a P-120SE and over 300 flights on that plane without any problems with the tank.
