My how things can change in a week. OK, it actually changed since Monday. I got the recommended motor from HeadsUpRC.com. The shipping was $2.00, from Florida[X(] I will be doing more business with them!!

OK, so I hung the correct motor on the plane. I rebalanced the prop since I had it off of the motor. That was all done on Monday. I got to try it yesterday. I have the Watt's Up numbers for this combo, and they look fine. But the motor was a bit hot to the touch after a sub 4 minute flight. So I brought it in and swapped out the props. This time I went with a GWS 9x5 DD prop. I lost about 33% of Watts/peak but I gained a much better handling plane. The moral of the story is that for small companies, they have probably found the best power option.
