engine cooling
I have a post in the RCV engine area , but thought I would put this up here to get a larger feedback . I'm putting a RCV 120 sp into my Nieuport 28 that I'm building . I'm building a scale looking dummy engine for the cowl and it shrowds the engine a lot .I've done a lot of reading about ducting cooling air over a engine , what works and what doesn't . But , I really don't know how much air needs to flow thru the fins to keep an engine cool . I have an idea to use a fan from a computer and a fiberglass duct work to blow air thru the fins . Last night I got to thinking maybe it would be a better idea to use the fan to pull air thru the ducting instead of trying to force it thru . Does anyone have any thoughts on this that might be helpful ?
