If both the motor and the ESC you're on about are EZRun then you should have no problems running that motor as the 5.5T come with the 60A ESC. I wouldn't really be worried about your ESC being able to handle it on 3S though, because if your drivetrain isn't flippin' amazing your car will self destruct running that setup. If you're wanting to drift with it chances are it'll be VERY hard to control!

What chassis do you have? An example is, my TT01E on standard gearing, 6000Kv @ 3S gives me a theoretical speed of over 60MPH !!!!!!!!!! You're into speed runs territory and serious component failure on a daily basis. On 2S it's a more reasonable 40MPH, but even then you're looking at around 10-15 minutes of run time I reckon.

I'd recommend trying a 9T motor on 2S for around 30MPH depending on gearing and it'll give you much better run times.
