Default RE: TFGE F4U Corsair 60 Kit Build

Hi John,

You will find quite a few accomplished builders on RCU and the various threads. I tend to welcome any one who wants to contribute from their build and if you get stuck, please feel free to ask questions. If you have had a chance to read through this thread then you already know my retracts are serria, the key to prevent a serria gear from binding/jaming, always ensure your mount blocks are square. Always have either 5 ply modelers plywood or a flat piece of basswood cut to the size of your gear, the reason you can place the wood on your mounting blocks to determine if they are square or not. Before putting any screw/bolt into your gear always ensure the mount is true, a twisted mount will cause your gear to either stick or not function at all. Welcome to this build thread, I tend to maiden my Corsair in a few weeks and then mount my pylons and test my bombs and drop tanks. An oh by the way, please post some pictures of your build, we all would realy appreciate it.
