Yes, the TTn is a great bike to start with. Quite durable and with the low CG the bike is very stable and easy to drive. The only weak point I can think of is the tanks outlet. As it sit right behind the front wheel it get damaged easy. But some simple brass tube from airplane tank and fuel proof silicon should fix that.
And get some PMT 200 or 100 tires as well. Night and day different with the kit tires.
