RE: Martin Mauler and/or Grumman Guardian drawings?
Thanks for the info balsabuff. I have the "Scratch This" video series and I did recall that Platt used the Guardian as his example. However, all my videos are in VHS format and I no longer own a VHS player! I may give Holman a call regarding the drawings but I'm leaning more towards the Mauler at this point. Although having a full size Guardian at Falcon Field certainly adds a point in its favor. Glad to hear Jerry has a Guardian plan available but it's a bit too big for my tastes. I'm looking for something that would make a good companion to my Hellcat design but would end up being a bit larger when built to the same 1/8 scale. At that scale the Mauler ends up being 75 inches, perfect for my tastes. The Guardian works out to be 91 inches at 1/8 scale! Still a bit bigger than I would like.
