My GeeBee was designed by Henry Hafke twenty years ago. It appeared in Model Aviation as two articles in 1983. Henry is considered the Guru of GeeBees as he has drawn them all up and they all fly good. The plane appears to be vey scale like.
Yes, it lands fast, but is very managable. No snaps. I don't want a plane that is so scale it snaps on landing. Sorry. Right now I am real satisfied with the look and flight qualities of my bird.
Knowing Great Planes like I do, I think their new GeeBee R2 will be another winner. Don't damn the plane before it flys.
