I realize that Pro-Am is intended to be a fly anything kind of event, but it really bothers me that there are ARFs being flown at Top Gun. Scale contests are about building AND flying a scale aircraft.
Personally, I know I can best an ARF in static with a build, and the flying is what it is. Even the best pilots have bad days.
If the ARFs start winning consistently, wouldn't we have to start to question the scale communities skill set? I don't think that is in any danger of 'dumbing down' to the ARF any time soon.
