Default RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

Dave,

That's awesome, sir!  I loved it.   That hexicopter has great power and seems incredibly agile.  God, it was hard to look at the pictures, but man... that is awe inspiring.. just the noise and the way you went full out when it was on its side.  It's a beast!!!  Thanks so much for sharing, sir!

Ivan,

Thanks for the update.  I was hoping you'd have a good night of it, bro.    I've got a couple of DS760's on the T-Rex 500, I'm using a 3500g.  On the HeadHunter, I'm using a Hyperion servo.  Never had a 3400g.  Are you using the software to program the Spartan?  Just wondering because they've got a ton of settings.  Kammerer used to use a 3400g with a DS760 with no issues.  Anyrate, at times, I forget just how many helicopters you have!!!  Planes... I don't know much about.

Dunno about the tape.. I haven't flown either of my microbeast helicopters long enough to know (see below).  I have a bunch of Charlie tape, so if I have problems, I'll try that.  I don't know what the standard tape is good for with the center punched out, though.

Me...

Well, I finished the 450 pro today only to forget to program thottle hold... More brainfarts!!!  I stripped the front torque tube drive gear because I'm so used to using thottle hold to land..   I got a glorious 35 seconds in the air with it.  At least I know the basic microbeast settings are good.
I've got the gears.,. I'm just hungry... time to get dinner...  Oh, I did replace the top bearing/servo mount block and rebuilt the elevator servo.  I have to say it's much easier to get the elevator servo in when you don't have the top bearing block in.  Oh, yeah.. moving the balls in on hole fixed the 6 degree issue.   I'm hungry...   Look up Black Rock Bar and Grill in Michigan... that's where we're going to eat.  I can just taste it now!

If I decide to keep the flybarless 450pro... I'll have some parts for sale.

Scott
