Default The fleet's comming together

G'day, After a months of trolling forums and reading threads, I finally have a few boats of my own. With the advise from the guy's on OSE and from all the reading across the net I have managed to build a Delta Force Pirate 35" with a castle creation 1717 1580kv motor, swordfish 240hv esc running on 6s2p 10000mAh lipo's and a x450 prop. After a handfull of sessions of trial and error I've managed to get her up to 96.9kph but she's still a bit unstable, I still have some fine tuning to do but I pretty happy with it as my original goal was 100kph, I belive it's still got a fare bit in it that I hope to see as my trimming and tuning skills grow. I have also built an Aeromarine Titan 29" with a castle creations 1515 2200kv motor, turnigy 180a esc running 4s2p 10000mAh. I have only ran it twice and the first time I used a x640 that proved too small and the second runI put on a x642 which was too fast, resulting in a nice little crash at around 53mph and an up turned boat. I will have to re attach the front hatch latch that I made as it broke off in the crash which then forced the tape to open up a little and let about 1/4 cup of water into the hull, I think all the electronics are fine as a friend drove it back to shore and I disconnected everything quickly and dried everthing out. I think I'll try a x445 next and work on the trimming and tuning. I have ordered an Aeromarine Sprint cat .90, a 42" cat that I plan on running 2x cc1717 1580's, 2x t180's and 6s2p 10000mAh on each side, I'm really looking forward to this one, it'll be nice to run a twin cat. I'm hoping the cheap mean machines are still available as I've put the order in on one of those also which I stick a 1717, t180 and run 6s, should also be a fun boat. I hope to get this order in the next week or so, I have been trying to get the order in for about 2 weeks with no luck and a guy on OSE has offered to order them for me from the states and I will fix him up, it's this kind of helpfulness and trust that has draw me into this hobby, love it!!
Here's a few links to my youtube videos running the DF35 and crashing the T29, I hope you enjoy, I did.
