Default RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

For the life of me I can't get that link to work here! "n" or "y" or "m"... LOL It was a large R/C heli hauling a fish out of the ocean. Crazy!

Dave - I was just thinking to myself "Boy, that thing loses a lot of altitude on those side runs..." when it hit! OUCH Lot's of stuff dangling on the spider arms! I'll be sure to add all those "features" to my version of that jet!

Scott - don't let Ivan sway you!!! Get something with 4 wheel drive. Even the 1/10th scale are small when you're moving at that speed & you lose sight of it pretty quick! Then it gets boring - much more fun tearing up the neighborhood grass, wood chips at the park, the infield dirt, etc. LOL

Ivan - having said that, I still want to try!!! LMAO I had seen vids of the ballooning tires. I forgot I had the pink blucub in the basement 'til I went to get the toys up from the basement. I looked at all the instructions but they never say were/how to put the servos on, where the CG is, etc. I guess I need to do a little more research. I do want to get that flying soon!

I had the Slash out yesterday with the neighbor & his E-Revo. He put a BL motor in there! He used a 1/10the scale set instead of the recommended 1/8th scale so it's a tad under powered. It still goes like crazy. I really need to see about getting the 4 wheel drive version of the Slash.

Gees, 3 days & I got the new swash for the mCP X. What great service (Quantum Hobby in CT) Haven't fixed it yet as the grand kiddies were here for an over nighter. I'm exhausted. Maybe after my nap, now that they're gone... LMAO
