I don't think so. I would even go to the extreme of replacing the TX battery also. You never know, and it just isn't worth it. If cost is a factor, pick one or two planes that you could consider favorites and get new RX battery packs for them, and, by all means, replace the TX battery. That way you can start fresh without any lingering doubts about the quality of your electrical parts.
