Well finally the day came we'd been waiting for, MJ and myself headed east at 04.00 for a day out in the Suffolk countryside. Knowing we'd not be in the base till around lunch time we figured on an early arrival to get some early morning action, glad to say we got some shots from outside the base, plus with them using 06 meant we got some nice take off and taxing back in shots.

As for the base visit, all that can be said really is what an outstanding 5 hours and fair play to our guide for a really informative enjoyable trip so many many thanks. I certainly learn't allot, the Eagle really is one hell of a machine.
