We decided to build a different airplane. The plans should be here very soon. It is the RCM Advanced Trainer. We have a HB .61 PDP for power and a simple 4 channel Futaba radio.

The Super Tigre is in the picture. Quite different looking than the HB 61. BUT may I say your typing skills are much better than most on the forums!
I'm afraid this is my fault. I kept thinking it would be too much power. (Actually, I got jealous and wanted to put it on my Super Kaos instead! I'm a horrible father... [&o] ) For training- yes. However, the ST .51 we put on it is way too much for training purposes as well. We had it throttled way back to 1/4 throttle for most flying. It ran very efficiently this way, but an old K&B 40 would be preferred IMO.

After flying it, I regretted I didn't have the .60 sized weight in the nose though. Grey Beard suggested I shift some weight to the nose. The floating tendancies may be a tail heavy condition. I will move some onboard equipment under the tank and see what we can do there.
