Just one question. Would´t be faster and maybe as well easier to start with Platt short kit or enlarge Brian Taylor 109F to size you want?
I have both of those 109's, Platt and Taylor. No it would not be faster. Plus it would way more expensive.

On our side of the pond the CMP kit costs $529+shipping
The Platt short kit with plans will be $239,00+shipping
Out here CMP $249.00 plus shipping unless active promotion with Nitroplanes going. Platt I paid 450.00 for spinner (Didn't fit his plans, small by 1/4"), plans, glass front scoop, vac form parts, canopy, no wood.
B Taylor BF 109F 61" span. I paid around $225.00 for plans, canopy, spinner, top half of cowl, and laser cut wood formers and ribs. No wood Sheeting
Out here, not nearly a bargain at this time.
