If you drill the holes there is
no need for using Self-tapping screws.
I know there is a hardwood there ,
BUT on aggressive movements i am not very sure if the entire control horn will hold up.
Also guys, if there was no need for the backplates of the horns, they wouldn't supply them.
FasLinks are provided, but only
x3 if i remember!
So i will use them on the rudder-elevator and maybe throttle servos.
The
Z-bends really work nice
+ it's a 1' job!
even if you drill the holes you'll need the sheet metal screws, drilling the holes is only to guide the screw in. where did you get this plane? it should came with 6 or 7 faslinks, you should call Great Planes to get all the stuff missing.
