But I said I sanded it out, too. I didn't elaborate, but after the fence ding I spent a whole lot of time dressing it up, and balanced it at home. After the contest incident I did all of that on the field before the next flight, after Jon Carter and others helped out with bending my wire gear back straight!
The point was that about an 1/8th" of the tip's material was missing after the second incident and I experienced reduced thrust from the disc.
