I think the compression should be ok, the plane doesn't have an hour on it yet. I did buy another ignition from Valley Veiw and I will probably replace it. I just wanted to know how to diagnose it instead of being a parts replacer. It's just the way my brain works. If its bad I want to know why. I may try the six volt battery as av8tor said just to see if it makes a difference.
