Oh I do that too for my ESCs and batteries. Sometimes I use a cable tie with that method. I was talking more about other items where it isn't so convenient to wrap a tie around the item...even wires. I've become a hot glue nut these days. Ya just take whatever component you want, put it where you want and glue it down. It's no good for things you are removing on a regular basis but it's great for things you want nailed down into tight places.

On the underside of the ESC is a small piece of velcro that is stuck to the "floor" and the other part of the hook and loop is on the ESC. It is the sticky back kind. Doesn't take much, but it keeps it from being able to slide around,
