hi there i have had my motors thro today i cant find 2 of my motor screws does any 1 know which 1s to get or part No i would measure them but not sure if i got to measure from screw head or begining thread to end oh wha please help any be great thanks
The diameter of screws and bolts are measured by the thickness of the threaded portion(measured on top of the threads, not in the thread grooves). The length is measured by the length of the screw that will be below the surface it's screwed into. So on countersunk screws, the length includes the head. On all others, the length only goes up to the bottom of the head.
540 size motor screws are almost always 3mm diameter.
