Thanks for your quick response. I am inclined to think that I may have an air leak because I removed and replaced the carburetor to strip it down and do a clean. If this is indeed the case, how do I go about identifying the location of the leak and the fix. Can I apply some kind of gasket sealer?

Is the idle jet the same thing as the low end needle?<br type="_moz" />
