Hi there, i have been flying planes and racing cars for years but I have always used nitro versions. I new to the electric world but am very interested in getting into it. Anyways I was wondering if someone could set something straight for me. I want to know how the whole amp rating for the ESC works with the battery. Can I use any milliamp power battery? For instance I'm looking at a RTF version of a plane that comes with a 30A ESC and a 11.1 3S 2200mah lipo pack....using the same speed control, can I upgrade the pack to a 11.1 3S 4000mah lipo without doing any damage??? SOMEONE PLEASE LET ME KNOW!! I've heard people say you can throw any battery in there as long as you can jam it into the compartment, then others say not to deviate from what comes with it.....so I don't know what to believe. Also if someone's board and knows how to figure out the maximum mah rating and discharge rating that can be used with a given amp ESC....please let meknow about that too. Like I said, the electric powerplant worldis brand new to me but I've seen some of them in action and I'm pretty impressed.
