Default Multiple switches and batteries

Hi guys, I've run into a bit of a problem with my ESM Stuka radio equipment that I'm hoping to get some help with.

I'm using a Futaba 7C transmitter with a Futaba 617FS receiver. I am using two NiMH 2000 MaH packs for the receiver, each one on a separate HD switch. I am running battery #1 into channel 7 with a Y harness to the electric siren that I've set up. I'm running battery #2 into channel 5 with a Y harness to the choke servo for my DLE 30.

The problem is that the choke servo will not operate with the battery plugged in to the other side of the Y harness. As soon as I unplug the battery from the Y, the servo functions fine. I have changed receivers and the problem remains. I have changed the servo and the problem remains. This setup is functioning fine on my CMP Bf-109. I'm at the end of my knowledge rope. Are there any settings in the radio that I have possibly screwed up?
