Accu-Cycle Elite charging question on li-po
I have an Accu-Cycle Elite charger and I'm new to li-po batteries and charging. I charged my li-po batteries now a couple of times and it takes like three hours to charge one battery. I am letting my charger find the correct charge rate, but that seems to be way too long to charge a battery. I am reading about the guys at the field charging their batterys is 15 to 20 minutes.
What am I missing?
I have the following batteries:
One Thunder Power 3cell 11.1v 1350mAh pack
One Thunder Power 2cell 7.4v 480mAh pack
When I go to the current charge screen, should I be manually putting in a charge current of 1.35A for the 3cell battery and .48A for the 2 cell?
Would this be considered charging it at 1C?
What about if I'm in a hurry at the flying field then and I want to charge it up a little quicker. Can I charge them at a 2C rate? If so, then what would that number be for both?
Hope I don't sound too stupid, I'm new to these batteries and just want to understand and get it right.
