Hey guys, I took out my 1/6 FW-190 today after some PM and getting it ready for its first fight this year. The engine in it is a BCMA 26cc that is about 4 years old but with low hours. Problem occured after run up of about 60 seconds. Engine just died, no cough, sputter just shut off from half throttle. Problem is with the electronic igniton. Even with a fully charged battery there is absolutely no spark to the plug, When you pass the crank sensor past TDC you get a very small hint of of crack in the CDI module, like something is arcing inside it. Anyway question is where is the best place to buy a good but fairly priced ignition module for a 26-30cc sized engine. Everywhere I look for the price I might as well just buy a complete engine. Suggestions?
