...........another avenue you might want to give some thought to is to make a copy of your plans before building. Then you can cut them up into more manageable sections. (ie.. one for the wing, one for the fuse, and one for the tail-feathers.)
I like to use 3M's 77 adhesive spray to tack the plans to the building board, and the wax paper to the plans. Everything stays nice and tight. It only takes a thin coat of spray to do this. The plans will separate easily and retains a slight tackiness to roll them up without the aid of any rubber-bands.
I've read several threads about the plastic sheeting and I plan on trying this on my next model. Seems like it should be more resilient than the wax paper.
