It will really impress you, I have the Impact 3:1 gears and stock motors, and it climes and turns so real I love it. one thing I did was to add a sevo switch, (one that is a double) cut the red wire to the motor and conected to switch, now when I start the engen I can reve up the motor, plip the switch, I used the gear switch on the TX, and away you go.
