No, the KLG plug didn't have a replaceable coil but if a coil broke we'd stick the head of a pin inside to overlap two coils and get electrical contact again so we could have another flight.....then repeat the process. I keep the plug in the photo in my Dooling 29 so it looks period and keeps the dust out .
