I see swings in the numbers from flight to flight. I have never had any control issues though. I believe (my only RF knowledge was gained in a Holiday Inn Express) that the differences between flights is related to the DSM2 locking in on different channels each flight. From one flight to the next the next it might pick a "dirty" channel which causes the problem. I try to place a satellite on each "corner" nose,tail,each wing to separate them by as much as possible. One flight I may have single digit fades and the next flight fades of 100 or so. I used to worry about it but not anymore.
