I guess the wing is a little thiner than the old Jemco kit. The Rhom-Airs don't quite fit in the wing[&o]. They will stick out the bottom of the wing about 1/8th" on plates that I made. I just can't bring myself to bend the struts so far forward from scale just to fit in the wells. I did try to compromise, but they will retract just behind the wells. You'll never see it on the ground! The reason for this is the same problem with the full size P-51, the struts come out of the wing just behind the leading edge. RC retracts wont fit that close to the L.E. so they must be mounted further back, effecting the look of the struts.
