Good call on the strut covers. I went through a few cutting wheels on the dremel hacking up a set of VQ knock-off robo struts to make them look right with the correct length and proper sag on my Great Planes T-6 ARF. They do actually move...a little, but not much better really than hard wire in terms of soaking up a lousy landing.
