Default Truggy squealing grinding noise

i have a ten-t. ilost some teeth on the gear in the ross assembly at the back of the motor, where the one way bearing is located. so the ross spun without turning over the engine. accordingly, i pulled the engine and replaced that wholeassembly. then i reinstalled the motor with assemblyand tuned it.

the engine runs fine now, but above about 8-10 mph, the truck starts making a noise that sounds something like a slipping belt on a car. maybe worse than that though. so i adjustedthe brakes with my radioand they SEEM fine. no binding. they never seemed to bind or rub. the diffs seem fine too, asthe truck rolls fine when i push it back and forth. no binding or unusual noise then. this truck has not got a lot of use either, nothing should be worn out.

before i tear into the brakes, could this be somethingbesides the brakes rubbing? they sure don't SEEM to be rubbing.... i'd appreciateany input on this.
