RE: DX8 Re-binding issue
Other things that affect bind are metal surfaces (stay away from them), noisy RF environments, long distances (6 ft is good), low battery in rx, and (with normal rx/sx systems) plugging in the power upside down.
The 1S micro stuff is susceptible to low battery voltage, as there isn't much headroom with a 1-cell LiPo. If your battery was low, that would account for it not binding.
