Default RE: When does the nevousness stop?

Yeah, as I've said, usually the first one or two flights of the day are really nervous, no matter when they are (first flight of the first day of the flying season or well into the season). I still am a bundle of nerves for a little while, doing simple orbits and trim adjustments. Then I get brave and do a couple of easy hammerheads. Then I set up for several landing passes - go around's, then a couple of touch-and-go's, then a landing. I rest a little while to unwind, then I put it back up.

The second flight is usually a bit more of the same, but I begin to get my boldness back and start to do more complex maneuvers, but always, way higher than I would do after the third or forth flight. But, usually, things calm down and the fun continues.
