I own both the FT SC10 and the SC10 4x4, I would def. go with the 4x4 considering what your looking to do with it...... The FT SC10 is based more on for racing, don't get me wrong it can be a good basher but will need a few upgrades such as rpm a-arms and front bumper etc........ The SC10 4x4 is also built more for racing, but its also built like a rock, I've raced it and crashed it multiple times and so far haven't broken anything, the plastic's on the 4x4 are solid and can take alot of beating.......... I also am running my 4x4 with mmp (newer version) and castle 3800kv motor and it has more then enough power needed...I will soon be switching out the 3800kv motor for a tekin 5.5 sensored motor just to see the difference.........
