Default RE: Which Aeroplane Gyros are best?

Chad
you can not use a gyro on ailerons on a 3D plane to help you because of the reasons i explaned before.
On a prop hanging 3D harrier flight you need rudder to rise the wing that falls...and lets say you use a gyro to control rudder from the wing=aileron axial
then as soon you go on a torq roll in a hover your gyro will give you rudder and crash.

I accept the use of a gyro on the stering in some narow maingears high speed take off jets..or in "sick" designs on rudder to help dumping out the "Dutch roll",
or on a 3d vector jets that needs to hover on the elevator + rudder ....but for normal flying a gyro its way overkill if not dangerus

Alex
..i had no tail waggle in our L39 mate ...its rock steady http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCQz8fioHxk
...maybe thats a warning that something going on back there and needs checking.Gyro wont fix a promblem ...just hide it till it get wors and too late

Johnnie Red ... props are for boats nowdays ...when you will joing our sick part of the hobby
