OK guys, I'm currently developing a budget for the possible build of the SC10 4x4 (still debating on a Slash 4x4, since it may be more cost effective). I have a Spektrum DX3S radio already, which I use for my current three vehicles (Savage Flux, Sprint 2 Flux, E-Revo BL), and am considering getting another 2.4GHz radio so I can play w/ one of them while my gf uses another. I'd prolly just find a used HPI or Traxxas setup.

What would you guys recommend for a motor/ESC? I know a couple of you are using a CC setup, and Cyberbug is using the Tekin stuff.

I was considering using a Tekin RS Pro Sensored ESC w/ Redline SC4X motor, though I don't know which one to get (4.5, 5.5, or 6.5 turns)

What about Novak stuff? Would a Novak Ballistic 550 Short Course w/ their Havoc ESC?
