RE: Neptune ARF advice on 1st seaplane? Construction tips?
I'm going to replace the stock engine mount on mine. I got the angle of the engine crank slightly down and absolute 0. When I tightened the bolts down the engine angle went up and to the left. I think the stock mount might be too soft so I'll get another one in a few weeks.
I have the firewall exactly level and even accross. I'm thinking I could have screwed up the engine angle myself? I never run accross that type of problem before. Has anyone else had a problem with the stock mount? What angle do you guys set your engine at? The directions don't explain it very well, it just says to have the crank angle at 0.
Other than that, once I have this problem corrected, all I have left to do is the throws and decals. Then I'll break in the engine and will go fly it.
