That ESC probably won't hold up very well...this is a truck that's about 6 pounds fully dressed, with more than twice the driveline drag of any 2wd. ThunderbirdJunkie is going to be upgrading to an RX8 soon with a 550 can 4.5, 5.5, or something of that ilk very soon as a result...the old Mamba Max came off the track after the first heat at 219 degrees

Alternatively you could run one of the Tekin, Viper, or whatever 550 brushless motors.
