Gene: My instructor was (is) a big Pattern person. He drilled into me that "real pattern pilots fly the pinch method". I don't quite know what to say about that. I seem to fly a combination of both, but mostly pinch method. My thumb hurts when I put it on top of those castle type stick knobs. [:@]
