That stock mount is too light, as with most of the chinese hardware, it's not to be trusted. I don't understand why Maxford bothers to include it.
Not only light but soft. I took the stock mount off the V1 since I'm making a project out of it this Winter, so I won't need it, and now I'm using it in the V2. At least the holes match up now on the firewall. The V1 mount is smaller, but uses a stiffer nylon. The V1 you could use the stock hardware. The V2 on the other hand did make some improvements, but the hardware wasn't one of them and the quality over all isn't as good as the V1. JMHO
They really need to improve the directions and have more photo's showing how things are supposed to go instead of trying to figure everything out.
I got the slightly to the right and down angle with the engine now, all I have to do is screw the cowl on and put all the decals on, do the throws and break in the engine. Then it's maiden time.
