The Sprint 2 being entry/mid-level will do fine.There is an HPISprint 2 thread in 1/10th on-road forum that has a wealth of info on it. There is a rear diff cover mod and steering fix (there's a lot of slop in the S2 system) that should be done before the tires see the street. There's about a half-dozen entries about the rear diff cover, and the steering fix is on page 34 about halfway down.

The S2 can get pricey if you go with the option parts, though some will raise the skill level of the S2 once installed.

I've had mine now for four years and will be doing a front mid-motor conversion this year. It will never be as good as my upper-level chassis, but it is close.
