Good point, might not want that hanging off of a side carb engine... My engine has a rear carburetor so I think it should work.
Thats why you make a manifold to place the filter inside the fuse....look under the hood of your car....filter can be about anywhare under hood!
Like I said in the first post.....
If you hunt down the part number/parts list they've got a carb to filter manifold that should readily adapt to a Walbro type carburetor.
I've got a lathe so I'm going to machine an adapter out of Delrin.
Anyway, Just a heads up if your looking for an air box/filter....
