Default RE: Shorts Tucano T1-120

HELLO, bobby67 . Good to hear from Italy. I do not have drawings. The panel lines on the fuselage were molded into the fiberglass by the mfg. I did not have panel lines on the wings. I offered advice to one member regarding resource for drawings on one previous comment. Also my previous comments discusses the retracts I used. I had existing SpringAir mains and purchased the nose gear new. If I had a choice I would use electric, less complications. My weight was 11 pounds. Notice I said "was". My elevator servo froze in the "up" position and I could not recover from the unintended loop, too close to the ground and it went in. Even though I throttled to idle, it went into the ground at 60 degrees too fast and was totally demolished. It was heartbreaking to say the least. But life goes on.
Good luck with your plane. One contributor's plane weighed 13 pounds and he said it flew well. You can see his video on one of the previous pages.
