Brings back memories of last year. I lost the first joint of my little finger and flesh on 3 others. It was eerily similar to your accident. After some hand surgery, pain, and expenses I try to pay much closer attention to what I am doing. Hope you heal soon and very glad that it wasnt any worse than it was.
