It's probably the best prop for just speed. If you are using the Battle Floyd for combat, you might try using the 9X4. It won't get you as much speed, but should pull you faster thru and out of turns and maneuvers.

I like the Battle Floyd design. If I were trying to get a club interested in combat, this is the plane I would promote. It's inexpensive, quick building, reasonably tough, and flies very well even for a low time pilot.
