RE: 2008 the year of the Turbinator
The maiden flight was a total non-event. A click of trim here and there and it was flying great. A bit of thrust adjustment, cutting down on the aileron throw, and just a touch of down trim with flaps and it was totally dailed in. This thing flys really nice! With a P-70, its not a speedster, but its enough power. Its got a few extra lbs on it with the "scale" do-dads, so its not really a floater on landing either - its just right. I like it!
